End table

reclaimed wine tank oak

I had glued the top together using scraps from a previous project, not sure what to do with it and was inspired by some bent lamination I was doing on another project. I decided to create the legs in such a way that they would be mortised into the top. This works well with the half lapped cross pieces which are mortised into the legs. I enjoy making everything in a piece fit together in such a way so that each element supports the whole.

Finished with conversion varnish
